SKILL LEVELS
Beginner:
Just starting out with new equipment. The best time to learn good habits is right at the beginning.
Intermediate:
Intermediate is between a beginner and advanced. Has a good knowledge of how the camera works, but still working on composition, lighting and unusual situations.
Advanced:
Definitely has it figured out with shooting daytime landscapes, wildlife and portraits. But, wants to move up to after dark and night sky shooting plus more complicated subjects like stacking, focus tracking and manual camera operation.
Professional:
The professional wants to learn everything possible. Everything about the camera and how to shoot in a studio where lighting is completely set up and controlled by the photographer.
