Pet Photography Lessons
Photographing your pets can be challenging. Fussing with the camera getting all the settings right. Trying to get your pet to look at the camera and be happy. Adjust the lighting for a dramatic picture. Yikes. We’ve all seen great shots of people’s pets, but how do they get them? Sometimes it’s a lucky shot, but more often it has to do with some knowledge, prep and skill.
Photographing your pet indoors or outdoors each have their own set of issues. Generally the light is better outdoors, but it may not be a good idea to let you pet run loose while your attention is on technical issues. Indoors is safer, but quality lighting is usually minimal.
Learning how to overcome these obstacles is fundamental to getting good photos. Once over that hurdle you can spend more time working with your pet rather than the camera.
A pet photography lesson and assistance photographing your pet is the best way to start. Once you know the tricks, then you can set out on your own on moments notice when your pet is in the mood.
